    simpy put no point in tyiping all that when i can just copy and pates. Every thing in that thread is the exsact same for me minus some thing with the disk drive

    I have a really weird situation, I can turn on my system by my wireless controller, but if the console is not turn on for a while, then the controller won't able to turn on the console, the "X" on the controller will just keep flashing. It happen on both
    of my controllers. It is annoying, I have to go press the power button on the console itself, then I am able to shut down and turn it on again.

    Please help me.

    It could be normal general wear and tear and you may just need to replace the controller. All controllers come with a limited 90 day warranty. If it's still under warranty you may be able to send it in for repairs.

    Sometimes mine does that as well. And I've noticed each time I had to manually press the button, it would go through the long startup. I think it happens when it's been off for a while, lost power at some point or had an update overnight.

    G'day,

    I've never noticed this because my controller is connected to charger cable anytime it's not in use. I suspect you are losing the controller WiFi connection and I don't agree that a soft factory reset will fix the problem.

    also already tryed reseting the xbox and changing the batterys. iv synced it like over 12 times it always ends the same, turn it off for the night, next day at some point i pick the control up and push the button and all that happends is the light on the
    control flashes.

    Try directly connecting your controller to the console. You should then be able to update the controller.
