MY XBOX ONE CONTROLLER WON'T SYNC AFTER A CONTROLLER UPDATE (NOT A XBOX UPDATE), IT DOESN'T...

Double-clicking the sync button on the Xbox One controller right after turning it on just delays the Xbox turning on and it eventually syncs with the controller again. Apparently, the feature was implemented for the Xbox Series controller since you can go straight into sync without turning on the controller or the Xbox just by holding down the sync button https://www.reddit.com/r/xboxone/comments/xnwdqf/til_you_can_put_the_controller_into_sync_mode/

I just updated my Xbox One controller and it's still the same thing. So hopefully it can be implemented as an update if nothing physical in the Xbox One controller prevents it from being possible. I hope someone in the Dev team can see this.

I'm running out of hope here...

First I'd like to make it perfect clear that I have installed the correct software and manually updated the driver.

After that process, my controller synced perfectly and was working fine until I had the bright idea to re-sync it to the xbox...

Well after that It wont sync to the received on PC...

I cleared the drivers and uninstalled the software to install it again and it didn't work...

The controller ended de-syncing from xbox with the many attempts I had to sync it to the wireless receiver.

So now...none of my controllers will sync with the receiver even after following all steps for the software and driver. I keeps blinking (going in circles) and it doesn't sync...

Anyone has any ideas why this is happening...I mean it was working and now it won't...

Could I ask why that is and if there is a possibility that could be addressed in an update?

I don't think it can be fixed with an update.

When you plug an Xbox One controller into an Xbox, the console also automatically syncs the controller to the console's own proprietary wireless receiver, which incidentally doesn't use Bluetooth. When you plug the controller into a PC it looks for this
propitiatory wireless signal to sync to but doesn't find it and therefore because of this search it is no longer synced to the console.

There is no way to disable this automatic sync process as it's by design. A feature to make connecting to a PC using the official receiver easier. I'm pretty sure if you buy the official Xbox One wireless receiver for Windows, the controller should automatically
sync to this when you insert the micro USB cable from the PC to the controller and therefore you won't need to keep pressing the bind buttons, but I'm afraid syncing is something that you will have to keep doing, one way or another unless you buy a second
controller.

I'm having this same problem after I updated my controller, now it won't sync or if it is it won't do anything, not even when I plug it in with a micro usb

Try to update your controllers via plugin them in with the usb cable to your xbox and than go to the update menu and look for controler update click it to check (even if there is no update this fixes sync problems with your controller)

I try to get the upadte for my xbox one controllers. But there no update for it.
