    I have had my volcano shadow xbox one controller for a few months now and I have tried multiple times to connect via Bluetooth with no luck and I am sick and tired of use a cable to use it on my pc, so I decided to come to the forums in search of actual
    help instead of these guides Microsoft has put out which were of no use. anyone with any experience on this situation and has a fix or atleast any ideas as to how to remedy this problem.

    Xbox One S controller won't connect to Windows 10 Via Bluetooth & Just Shows Up As "input" On List

    My Xbox One S controller won't connect to my Windows 10 PC anymore via bluetooth. When searching for devices, it just shows up as "input" with a controller icon but it used to show up as "Xbox Wireless Controller" before. Everything is up-to-date including
    controller firmware & bluetooth drivers. I have also restarted my PC many times. I have also tried adding it via control panel with no luck.

    Under Human Interface Devices, as Xbox One Wireless Controller. This is when connected with the Microsoft wireless USB dongle.

    I’ve also seen the controller under game controllers when initially connected via Bluetooth. But I abandoned using it via Bluetooth with my windows 10 pc. Only wireless adapter now.

    Yes, I'm trying to connect my controller via Bluetooth on my Windows 10 PC (It worked before yesterday). When I connect my controller via USB Cable it works fine.

    The XBox Button flashing slowly when it's turn on. When I press the sync button to connect via Bluetooth, the XBox Button flashes for 1 second and the controller turn off.

    As Geth mentioned, Bluetooth connection to a Windows 10 device will work just fine for Xbox One controllers, depending on the model of the controller. Certain older Xbox One controllers do not support Bluetooth connections.
