My Xbox One controller keeps scrolling up

I have updated and everything and the controls work fine. In test mode, I move the analog stick up and it on the test screen it says it stayed pushed up for a few seconds even though I didnt hold it up

BrettKiproff, try to connect your controller via wire on your PC, and open the accessories app, in there, try to update your controller's firmware.

Also, in the accessories app, after you update your controller's firmware, test the buttons on the app.

Oh I see. Probably what's happening to your controller is an issue called drift.

This causes that particular issue, that when the analogue stick is pushed in any direction, it keeps pushing even tho the analogue stick is let go. When that happens, since it's a mechanical issue, it's needed to replace a tiny piece of hardware underneath the analogue stick. :/

Have you found a fix for this? Im having the same issue. My dashboard scrolls right and will not allow me to move left, up or down. Its not my controller, ive tried 4 different controllers. But the problem still exists. I even installed the xbox one remote
to my phone and it still scrolled to the right and will not allow any other movements. Thats a sure thing that its not the controller. I have factory reset it keeping games and apps, and factory reset erasing everything but no luck.
