My Xbox One controller is having some problem that I can't identify

So, 3 months ago I decided to buy a new Xbox controller (the white one) so my brother could play with me. The first day it started to turn off sometimes but for some reason it took a whole week to start showing problems about wireless connection. At first
I thought it was about the battery, and I was so busy that I've been absent to playing on my console for more than a month so my brother played with the main joystick. These last weeks we tried to play again it has been a complete hell. The controller just
disconnects but the light stays on. I have to take the battery off and put again so it can restart and I've tried to update, reconnect again, etc, and nothing helps.

I'm pretty sure I dont have a warranty anymore and it was really expensive.

I need to know if theres a solution for this, or what is causing it. The other controller works just fine and I don't have any problem with it.

I'd be happy to help. This sounds like the radio signal between the console and controller is weak and is getting dropped by any kind of interference. Let's try and improve the signal.

Go ahead and do a
hard reset and power cycle. Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down and then remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 2-3 minutes. Then re-connect and
turn on the Xbox.

If you need to, go ahead and pair the controller again using the BIND button on the console and controller.

Thank you for the response! I did what you said and it's doing ok for now, but it's really hard to see if the problem is solved or not. Could you give me some tips on what could cause interferences between the controller and the console? I really think I
need to work on that.

So... it just happened again. The controller just stops working and the light still on. :\

this sometimes happens to me, and i have identified the problem as a batteries brand problem, some brands make batteries a little smaller than the usual size, so if am playing and move the controller with a certain force the batteries move and the controller
shut off
