my Xbox one controller has stopped working.

I got a new turtle beach headset. I plugged it in and it said I needed to update my controller, so I updated it. Halfway through the update I accidentally unplugged my Xbox. My controller then turned off and hasn't came back on. I mean no light, nothing.
I've tried changing batteries and that did nothing. I've tried plugging it into the micro to USB cord to the Xbox and that did nothing. I've tried other controllers, they worked fine. I've tried my controller on a diffrent console, and of course that didn't
work. Please help. It will be take THREE WEEKS for it to ship. I dont really want to wait that long, so any suggestions or ideas?

Will this USB wire work for my controller?

The wire that came with my Xbox One controller has stopped working. I was wondering if this -

There's a couple things you can try that will easily resolve this.

Plan A

1. Remove batteries

2. Insert batteries

3. Hold the Menu and View buttons together for 10 seconds

4. Wait 30 seconds

5. Hold Xbox button and attempt to power on

Plan B

1. Remove batteries

2. Connect controller to console with a USB cable

3. Press and hold Xbox button for a couple seconds

4. Wait 2 - 5 minutes and the controller should power back on.

My xbox and controller are up to date
I have tried a different headset with my two controllers and it was the same
I have tried on my two different controllers and on two different xboxs

This has never happened to me before and I am very confused. It was weird how one controller stopped working with my mic, and when I swapped over to my second controller, it too stopped working with my mic two weeks after the first controller. With trying out my controllers on another xbox, it leads me to believe that it is not specifically a xbox console problem and has something to do with my controllers.
