    My Xbox One controller doesn't work when plugged in. Tried two cables but the buttons don't work until I unplug. Tried two different USB ports, two different cables, and two different controllers (One elite, one not).

    Stereo Headset not working on the controller.

    I bought a Lunar White Xbox One controller at Gamestop today, when I plugged my Xbox One Stereo Headset into the 3.5mm jack and the audio works fine but my microphone doesn't seem to be working. I plugged it into my PC and it seems to work just fine. What
    am I doing wrong?

    Game chat not working

    I realize my Xbox day one edition controller doesn't work with the headset. But when plugged into the second controller bought at game stop it works on there. Also when I hit the down button on the D pad it makes a loud spring sound.

    Some USB cables are only wired for charging devices and not data and it may just be that both cables you have tried are like this. The USB cable supplied with many mobile phones apart from the newer USB C phones and the play and change kits should work with
    your controller.

    Been using them for years. They came with two separate Xbox One Play & Charge Kits that I've bought over the years.

    I went out and brought new wires and 3 new batteries and the problem is solved. Strange the battery I was using was only 6 months old. Thankyou for trying.

    Plug and Play-USB not charging/ cable not working

    I have 2 controllers. One that is wired, and I have separate controller that is wireless. When I plug in my wireless controller it doesn't turn on, and it makes my other wired controller which is plugged in turn off. The wired one works fine by itself. but
    once the wireless one is plugged in it doesnt work. What could be the problem?
