My Xbox one console is making a clicking noise and ruining my discs

im having problems with my Xbox one where ill put my disc in and it'll make a clicking noise then when I eject it the disc is scratched and the plastic center ring is torn up I have no idea what's happening with it and I'm not sure how to fix it i bought
the Xbox one around Christmas last year when it first came out and it just recently started being a problem so I doubt it was a startup issue with the xbox one but does anyone know what could possibly be wrong with it and I would greatly appreciate it if you
knew how to fix it also

just got home from launch, popped in my copy of ghosts and is making this odd noise, kinda like a clicking noise. also xbox cant seem to read any discs.. so pissed right now...

I feel your pain, i bought mine around the same time and am having the same problem. I insert games from 5 up to 80 times to play my discs. The Xbox one sounds like its feasting on my discs sometimes. The circle from the discs looks like its being worn away
each time by playing these games, why is this happening microsoft?

The best action is to have the console repaired. Don't wait and if your warranty is up, make sure you understand the cost and process before proceeding.

Lol. I actually sold my PS4 to get the One. The One is no doubt the better console.

Mine also is not reading discs makes clicking noise when i put it in then after a bit tells me disc not recognized please insert xbox one disc have tried 3 games nothing works. I have done the update too

Ok, now I know the console is fine...

Any update on the clicking though? I'd like to resume my original character but apparently that one makes my console do strange noises....
