My Xbox one Blu-ray player no longer works

    My Xbox one Blu-ray player no longer works


    I have my xbox one in my bedroom and never had a problem before playing blu ray discs. But then I wanted to watch a blu ray movie in my living room, so I had moved my xbox one into the living room to play a movie on my larger tv. The movie would not
    play. I returned the xbox one to my bedroom tv and still the blu ray movies do not play. How do I remedy this? Please explain it to me as if I am a 3rd grader because I am just not smart with this stuff!

    Xbox One won't load or play several of my Blu-ray discs

    I purchased "The River" Blu Ray at my local fly fishing shop the other day and it will not play in my Xbox One.

    I brought it to a friend's house that has other Blu Ray players and it works just fine in the non-Xbox Blu Ray players (it won't work in his Xbox One either.)

    Any thoughts on what the issue might be?

    Just tried the Blu Ray on a PS3 and it works like a charm, so it's definatly a bug on the Blu-Ray Player on the Xbox One!

    xbox one march 2017 system update is a problem.

    With the new update my Xbox One no longer reads Blu-Ray discs..
    Works for me.

    Now people can quit arguing with me about the next xbox having a blu ray player. Its finally confirmed with the recent leak. I knew this a long time ago but was not allowed to post my source.

    With the next xbox having a blu ray player I will be very interrested in buying it for sure. Not sure if it will be a day 1 purchase, but I will no longer need my PS3 anymore for blu ray movies.

    Why not buy a 3D blu-ray player its not like they cost much and the Xbox One uses software for Blu-ray playback unlike proper Blu-ray players.
