My Xbox One and remotes both disconnect from my wireless internet.

Hi there, so whenever I try to go on the console it allows internet for a short time then goes off. It sometimes let's me on after I manually put in the WiFi code but goes off soon after that. I have tried the troubleshooting steps but none have worked.
My controllers are wireless so I think this might have something to do with the hardware. Any Ideas on what to do?

Remote half disconnects?

So my Xbox One likes to half- disconnect my remotes. What I mean is that it disconnects enought that i cant control my character and the headset doesn't work, but it's still connected enough so my Xbox doesn't recognize that it got disconnected. I have
this issue with both my wireless and my wired remotes. Any help?

okay so i have had my xbox one for a little over 2 years now and have come across an issue that is ruining my whole experience. So whenever i turn my xbox one on, it will disconnect the controller im using and the internet, (both of which are wireless.)
it has never done this before, yes it has disconnected me from the internet a few times but never constantly or ever with my controller at the same time. and it will continue to disconnect and reconnect as long as my console is powered on. it does this with
any wifi network too. see im 14 years old and my mum and dad have split up so i take my xbox from house to house and i have this issue at both my mums and my dads who both have different wifi networks, my mum uses talk talk and my dad uses virgin wireless.
may i also add on this is only happening with my xbox and no other devices in the house that require internet. HELP WOULD BE VERY MUCH APPRECUATED! THANKS!

Have you tried resetting the modem,router, and console? Are you having issues connecting any other devices to your network?

 

From memory, I have power-cycled the xbox, cleared the MAC settings, resetted the router, hard-reset the console multiple times. I only have issues with the console, but when the console disconnects, so do the remotes.

 

Can you think of anything within your console's surrounding that may interfere with the wireless signals? Where one of these signals is Wi-Fi Direct.

What is the make and model of your wireless router?

Do you have the option to connect your console with wired, to see if this can be replicated over Ethernet.

 

The only things around my console is games, a TV, and the remotes. The router is a SkySR102 and the router is too far away from the console for a wired connection

It definitely sounds odd, as in the console the controllers and WiFi use completely different hardware. So if both are losing connection it suggests some pretty bad interference from somewhere.

Do you have any other WiFi devices and do they have similar problems?
