My Xbox One and 360 both shut off at the same time.

My Xbox One and 360 both powered off at the same time today and neither will turn back on. There was no power outage. Each one was in a different room. All other electronic devices in the house are working normally. Help!

Backwards compatibility for XB360 multi-disc games

Not rumours because 360 games like ME3 can be started with either of the discs, both are the play disc.

Each 360 game on One is wrapped in the emulator, both run at same time. Shut down game and you shut down emulator.

Microsoft have to work out how to keep emulator running when there is no game in it.

It is possible to sign in on both the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One at the same time with no issues to your account.

"You'll be able to be signed on with the same gamertag on both an Xbox 360 and an Xbox One console at the same time," wrote chief Xbox One platform architect Marc Whitten. "However, like today, you can only be signed into one Xbox 360 and one Xbox One at
a time."

Sorry you're having issues with both of your consoles. The likelihood of both of these just having a hardware failure at the same time (without a crazy power surge). would be really rare. Do other things work on same outlet as the Xbox One? If the
Xbox One is plugged into a power strip, go ahead and plug it directly into the wall. If that doesn't work, I would then suggest trying to power it in another location in your home to see if it does or does not work.

Am I the only one who can be signed in on both consoles? I've been using party chat on 360 while playing my One so I can chat with my 360 friends. No issues, it is allowing me to sign into both consoles with the same gamertag.

I'm experiencing the same issues. My system was working fine for the first few weeks but when I start playing it today, it keeps shutting off. Every time I'm 5 minutes into the game the system will shut off. And there would be a few times when after it shuts
off, I will turn it back on and it will shut off a second later. It will do this like 5 times until it turns completely on. I hardly was playing my Xbox one. I probably played it 10 times since I bought it.
