To clarify, is this the console itself or the controller?

Also, if this is the console, do you have an external hard drive plugged into your console? A corrupted hard drive may cause issues.

I get the same thing now and then. In my instance, it's caused by the actual game disk. Usually from it being slightly warped etc, this causes it to vibrate in the Xbox DVD drive while its being accessed. If its only doing it with one game, then that's what
it will be. If it is annoying you, then you could try exchanging the game for another copy that will hopefully not vibrate. Hope that helps.
