    For me to provide accurate troubleshooting steps, I'll have to ask you few questions.

    What's your Xbox console model/generation?
    Are you trying to install games digitally or you have them on discs?

    You also mentioned that you performed a factory reset, did you choose to keep your games & apps or you chose to remove everything?

    So try and explain why Imcan download a game update but it will not let me download or extract the console update. Now it's telling me the my 4 gb storage in the Xbox is bad. WTH.
