My Xbox minecraft world disappeared from the serve menu

I would suggest resyncing the profile to the cloud by clearing out the game caches:

IF THE CONSOLE IS CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET no progress or purchase data will be lost, what should be accomplished by doing these steps would be to resync the profile to the cloud getting rid of any corruption as a byproduct.

If this doesn't work then try a soft factory reset to restore the console's operating system while keeping your games and apps intact.
Make sure you have your account login information available as you will need to recover your account during the factory reset and your data should sync from the cloud once it's been added back to the console.

If the worlds are still missing then they became corrupted and were deleted locally and from the Xbox Live Cloud and there would be no way to recover unless you had backed up the game onto an external hard drive. You will need to ask a Mojang representative

I tried doing this and I tried doing the soft reset that was suggested in another Microsoft post now not only is my big world with a few hundred hours is gone but after doing all the other worlds I had that I had decent progress on are gone now too and
I cannot retrieve them from the old worlds. Thanks microsoft for making a

Got it. If your Minecraft world has disappeared on your Xbox Series S, try the following solutions:

1. Sync Old Worlds:

Launch Minecraft on your Xbox, navigate to the "Play" menu, and find and select the "Sync Old Worlds" option.

2. Restore Saved Data:

From the Xbox menu, go to "Manage Game" and then "Saved Data".

Select the Minecraft game and delete the saved data for this console only.

Uninstall and reinstall the game.

3. Check Backups:

If you have previously backed up your world, try restoring them.

4. Check Saves Folder:

Check if your world folder still exists in the "saves" folder in your Windows user directory.

If you find the folder, try loading the world directly from your computer.

I had a world that I’d been working on for over 3 years disappear from my list too and i have the regular minecraft for xbox one. Last night my xbox system shut down after I had saved and resumed playing due to overheating, but it baffles me how an entire
world i had never failed to save just disappears from my list because of that. I never had any problems until this happened.
