    Ok, my internet wasn't working on my Xbox, so I panicked and changed the MAC address and I don't know what to do.

    Nighthawk x4 AC3200 (C7500) Connection problem

    I can't seem to connect my xbox one x to my new router, model C7500. My xbox is saying that its possible that my router is blocking my xbox's MAC address, but i have my setting set to allow any MAC address. I also cant add my xbox MAC address to my wifi
    settings.

    Why did you change the MAC address? Is your network behind a MAC filter, or are you attempting to use the Wifi in a hotel or something?

    In any case, go back to the "Alternate MAC Address" settings and choose "Clear". Your console will reboot. I believe this should reset it back to default.

    How to identify Xbox console on network

    Hi,

    This is a router setting not an Xbox setting. Your model of router should be able to do this.

    Access the router menu

    Choose Setup/Basic-Setup

    Click Static DHCP and enter the mac address of the Xbox, the name you want to give it and the ip address you want to give it
