You'd still be able to play them if purchased. Its only Xbox One / Series SX games that need Internet. However, any games you purchased through GWG for free will be unplayable as you need an active subscription. Hope this info helps

Hi, Xbox 360 games do not require an active Gold account to play. So, if your Gold subscription expires you will still be able to download Xbox 360 games that you have previously downloaded.

You've always needed xbox live to play online,it's never been completely free ever since the days of the original xbox.

They have just removed the requirement for a xbox live gold sub to play free to play games & use party chat so maybe that's what you heard about.

As mentioned,you don't need gold to carry on playing xbox 360 games with gold but you do for xbox one games.You still keep any gwg you've downloaded,you just can't access the xbox one games without a gold sub.

I like how they combined both of the subscriptions but, not sure what's gonna happen if I redeem 12 months of Xbox live gold while having the ultimate subscriptions. I'm waiting for more information about the new subscription and what's going to happen
when it's official.
