    My Xbox live isn't working!!


    Help! I bought Xbox gold for three months the other day, I also bought a new Xbox and the game GTA V. I set up my Xbox live account on my phone and it was working fine, I could send a friend request to my sister and I could access the Xbox live store. But
    when I went onto GTA, I did the beginning missions and when I tried to access GTA online it came up with an error code saying "Your profile does not have the correct permissions to access Xbox live functionality" I was Bering confused by this, so I went to
    my Xbox home and looked at my profile to see whether something was wrong with my membership. When I was on there it said I didn't have xbox live, so i reentered my code and it said "please enter a valid code" Please help me!!!

    i bought a yearly subscription to Xbox Live last week ive played with my friends once i got it but 2 or 3 nights ago it came up saying i dont have a Gold subscription if i go onto the subscription part in the setting is says i have one and wont expire untill
    next year

    Hi, sorry to hear that's happening. I'd recommend the following troubleshooting steps:

    -You can visit https://account.microsoft.com/services/ to double-check that the account you expect to have Xbox Live Gold still has the service listed as active.

    -Also, make sure that the account with Xbox Live Gold is still signed into the console.

    -Try a power cycle of your console. For instructions: https://support.xbox.com/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console

    -Try removing and then re-adding your profile from the Xbox (note that you'll need to know the email and password for your account to do this). For instructions: https://support.xbox.com/my-account/manage-gamertag-and-profile/add-remove-account-xbox-one
