    My xbox live connection keeps dropping out.


    My xbox live connection keeps dropping out, even though my internet shows the full 5 bars. Is there a chance it is being hacked? If so, how can I check?

    It keeps dropping my connections constantly and it keeps dropping out when ever I try to run ANYTHING even stuff thats supposedly not effected

    Hi,

    Can I ask why you used port forwarding, where you having NAT issues? If your nat was open try taking off port forwarding, the super hub should give an Open NAT with just UPnP enabled and your Xbox ip address on auto

    Hey MuddyMule9 -

    It sounds like you're currently using a wireless signal to connect to Xbox Live. Could you try connecting your Xbox 360 to your network via ethernet cable and see if the issue persists?

    The xbox's connection to a network is affected by port forwarding as well. If you say that after you made these network changes your Live started to drop, I suggest bringing your settings back to default then testing your connection.

    Hi

    No port forwarding won't help lag, lag is a congestion issue on certain parts of the Virgin network I'm afraid :( you'll find a lot of Virgin customers are reporting the same thing

    At the times of lag can you go here:- www.pingtest.net and run that test a few times and post the link to the results like this:-

    I would remove port forwarding and go back to UPnP only
