My Xbox LIVE Connection is "Choppy"

Hello,

I am having an issue with my connection once I am playing in a multiplayer game. The connection will freeze for around half a second at regular intervals of 5-15 seconds, otherwise my connection is perfect and lag free. This issue seemingly came out of nowhere
as it has never been a problem before.

I stopped playing my Xbox for around 2 months because the end of the university term was approaching. Before this time, my connection was perfect and had no problems at all. Upon setting up and playing games again, the freezing problem started. During the
time I had stopped playing, my Xbox was transported to and from my hometown so hardware damage could be a factor. However I have transported it many times without a problem and wrap it in protective casing and bubble wrap.

The problem occurs on both my university connection and home connection, both tested with wireless and wired. As a note, my brothers Xbox has no problems on my home connection whereas my connection has the problem mentioned.

In terms on fixing the issue I have no tried much as the advice mentioned in this section of the forum mostly related to connection difficulties to Xbox LIVE I have tried the standard turning the router off and on and also re-entering my connection details
without success.

I'm hoping this doesn't require me to buy a new Xbox as this one is not very old so I would like to exhaust all options before having to result to that.

Games for PS4 get 1080p patch but not XBOX ONE?????

COD is a lot of things but choppy, on Xbox One, it isn't.

Yeah with all the Money they make off this game it is about time Activision became the host.

My Xbox is connected directly to the TV, a Samsung 1080p. And where I live it is PAL-M/60Hz. All other devices work fine.

I have noticed the choppiness even on games cutscenes that are pre rendered, like in Dead Rising 3. Definitely a system problem, not some app.

No it wasn't ever working good.even on my moga handheld it was choppy and glitchy.maybe it's my network? But I have 50 gb of connection

YouTube video playback in snap mode on Xbox ONE needs to be fixed. When the feature was first added, it was really choppy,, and out of sync. The update after that (current) seemed to improve that a little. It's still choppy (though slightly less), and the
A/V sync is pretty much okay, considering the stil choppy video.

Other video apps seem to play just fine snapped, be it live TV, streaming apps, and even throwing HD video from my tablet to the xbox video app (via DLNA). So yeah, only the YouTube app seems to play videos choppy while snapped.

I hope this gets fixed ASAP.
