    I bought an Xbox live gold membership and when I redeemed the code it said it wasn't activated yet and then I went to the store of which I purchased it and they said they couldn't do anything about it. I need help, because that'll be $60 down the drain

    I bought £50 gift cards from these sites for £40.84 with the 5% off codes for liking them on Facebook:

    Xbox Live Gift Cards, Xbox Live Points, Microsoft Points
    Xbox Live Membership & Xbox Live Subscription By OnlyCDKeys.com

    Enter the codes, buy from the MS online store for £45 each. Works out at £36.75 when you do the maths.

    If you have the receipt that proves you bought it, they can do something about it. Sounds like the person didn't swipe it or you stole it. Best bet is to chat with Microsoft.

    Absolutely. Take it back to the store with the receipt and have them activate the card. Phone support won't be able to help with a non-activated code.

    I'm getting the error code when I attempt to access my Windows Live account on Xbox Live. My 360 has no problems connecting to Xbox Live, but when I try to sign in using my Windows Live ID I get the error code message.
