my xbox one was hacked,a few weeks back, and 50 gb stolen from my internet allowance... cost me money.. and too top that off the xbox just came on by itself.. not me.. !!!!…

what gives theses **** the right too hack into your machine.. and now remotely control it,..

If someone is on your network with a profile authorized on the console the xbox app will allow for remote streaming. However the account would have to be already on the console and the connecting device on the same network. Are you living on a school
campus or similar?

If you were hacked and fraudulent charges made against your account, you should contact microsoft support if the charges were made with pre paid funds, or with the bank that's card was used to make fraudulent purchases.

This is exactly what I'm trying to do, but it's telling me that Game Pass subscriptions cannot be requested this way.

I don't want to do this because I'll need to keep doing this. I just want to setup a subscription for him.

My best guess as to why my account was locked is that the following occurred.

1) My default payment method was a debit card that my bank reissued due to a security issue

2) Whenever I attempted a purchase the authorization was attempted on the card that had been reissued and led to multiple declines

3) This led to my xbox live account to be locked from making purchases.

After the xbox live care team re-enabled my account and allowed for purchases using credit cards this issue was finally resolved.

Yes I did, twice. They acknowledged that it had been out of my control but are saying that no purchases were made while it was hijacked. That makes no sense with my missing points and my Windows Live account shows the purchase of a "season pass" - I have
no clue what it is, nor do I want it
