The Xbox One's Power supply already has a surge protector. If you use an extension plug/adapter with a surge protector you may run to issues as the console will be double surge protected.

If you'e not providing sufficient power to the console, it may become unresponsive, fail to load games and apps, and crash during game-play.

Obsessive power that sounds about right, is their any other way I can extend my cables reach with out using an extension lead? And forgive me if I'm being stupid as I'm only 14 but how do I cycle my network gear? If that's simpley turning it off and on again
I've tried that. When ever their is a power cut I have to go into the attic and refresh it.

You can still use an extension lead, just not one with a surge protector. If yours has one, try one that doesn't. Have you tried to plug your console in somewhere else in your home, somewhere where there is direct connection to the mains socket? It would
be interesting to see if you have the same issues.

Power-cycling the console literally means turning it completely off and on again. Same goes with networking equipment.

When you say it takes ages to load, do the main screen tiles show up when you sign in, or is the extra ones?

How far away is your console from the router?

When it does work, can you download things okay from Xbox Live or play on-line lag free?

What's your Internet connection speed?

Ok when ever I try and load an app or game on it, it now just says

'Please give it another try. If this happens again, let us know by entering 0x80070032 at xbox.com..........'

I have tried doing that and xbox.com says that there is no such error code?! I definitely entered it right. I have also tried doing everything above multiple times and no difference. My xbox also now takes 30 minutes to load D:

Should I just demand a replacement from game again? (for the 2nd time)

I've always found GAME brilliant for exchanging faulty items.

My daughter's Xbox One had issues, took it down and they replaced it there and then so you should have no worries.

You shouldn't have your Xbox plugged into a power extension cable? I thought it was ok as long as it had a proper surge protector ?

Like suggested above, perform a Hard Rest, this should hopefully fix your issues.

If the worst happens though you shouldn't lose your data as long as your console has been connected to Xbox LIVE recently. Game saves are backed up to the Cloud so if you did need a new console, you would have to re-install or download any digital games
you have but once you put your Gamertag on a new console and load the games back up it will just spend a few minutes synching your saves and your data will be back.
