My xbox keeps stopping installation

It goes to about 2mb 5% then it stops

If it says "Installation stopped" and continues to do this, a few possible solutions are listed below:

a) make sure there is adequate room to install

b) stop installation and delete all information related to the specific game from storage and start fresh.

c) if this fails repeat step B then go to

Network Settings

Advanced Settings

Mac address

Clear Cache

Then try to install again.

Failing these troubleshoots contact xbox support and they may be able to walk you through another solution. Please let me know how you go!

Does it get to a certain percentage and then stop? Please describe exactly what is happening?

Still the same problem. I’ve also deleted the game and tried installing just from disk, still keeps stopping every 0.3 - 0.5 GB it’s going to take weeks at this rate!!

Hey there try these steps

Eject the disc from your console.
Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.
Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Storage devices.
Select Clear local saved games.
Note Selecting this option will not delete any games or progress you have saved in the Xbox cloud. It will only clear data you have saved locally.
Select Yes to confirm.
Once your console restarts, try installing the game again.
