My xbox just won't work and keeps turning off

My xbox one, which I have had for two years (the original version) has seemed to stop working and keeps turning off; as of this moment, every time I try to turn it on, the xbox white light flashes for around two seconds then I hear the shutting off ding
and I'm back to square one. I do think I know why it's happening thou, but it's always nice to be sure, the other day, my sister put perfume on top of my ventilation system. Not thinking much of it, I went to sleep to wake up to my xbox reeking of perfume
and some grey substance stuck to the top of the ventilation, the substance is the only part that smells like perfume so I'm guessing the perfume leaked in would that be troubling? Another thing that it very well could be, is the power supply, every time I
try to turn it on again its light flickers between white and orange when it shouldn't, can anyone help? Recently, I'm able to turn it on and be on it for a couple of minutes but then it turns off again, any help? I'm really worried>

It does sound like moisture damage and as {Parity} said MS won't repair that kind of damage. maybe time for an upgrade?

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums am truly sorry what you are experiencing to me it sound like your console is faulty and liquid can also damage console and need be sent in and get

repaired.

Yes, any liquid inside the console could cause it to malfunction. Unfortunately, Microsoft won't repair a console with physical damage.

yes same here it's crap as soon as i turn off and start back up the sign in will just keep loading i can see my profile load but can't select anything have to reboot then it won't connect to the internet have to restart my router then everything works fine.
Or my console won't turn off the light will flash then the Kinect will turn off while the Xbox light keeps flashing .

I have the same problem with the same TV. It will not control TV power either off or on. I also can't get my Xbox to turn on by saying Xbox On, either. But Xbox off works, just won't turn TV off.
