my xbox jacket game pass ultimate code expired?

hi there,

i bought last year in summer an xbox jacket during a promo which promised me one year of game pass ultimate.

i play occasionally, so i saved up the code once my sub runs out so i can use it once the time has come.

now i tried to redeem the code and... the xbox-redeem-code-page tells me, that the code has expired.

what should i do now!?!

The phone support is the only way to get this fixed. But you must hope for a lot of goodwill from them !

I actually remembered another older 12 month XBOX Live subscription that I tried to enter as well. It says, "

Converting your code

Redeeming your Prepaid Xbox Live Gold 12 Month code will automatically convert to 4 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and will be added to your current Xbox Game Pass Ultimate account. By redeeming this code, you agree to this conversion. All conversions
are final; ratio subject to change. See xbox.com/gamepass If you choose not to redeem at this time, you can keep your code and redeem it prior to its expiration date, if any.

So, notice it says you can keep your code and redeem it prior to its expiration date.

But what I want to do is redeem it after my Game Pass ultimate expires. Assuming I will not want to pay for it after Sept 2020. Do I have to just hold on to all my codes and hope they don't expire?

Hi,

the codes for subs expire after 12 months.

I used the sale to get Game pass Ultimate and it shows 2025 - 1 as expiring date for the code.

Since you were still an active Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, your membership was converted using the conversion table shown in the FAQ on the

Game Pass Ultimate page. In order for the code to be redeemed as Xbox Live Gold, you would have had to wait until your Ultimate subscription expired to redeem it.
