my xbox isn't turning on

My xbox has been freezing and crashing frequently, not enough so that it gets annoying but enough to notice and today it crashed whilst i was loading fortnite and so i did a hard restart and it turned on but didnt load the startup sequence or homescreen.
eventually turned on after a long time before freezing again. it now turns on with the lights on and fan noise but doesnt load the startup sequence, and to turn it off again i have to do a hard restart (im not sure the exact name but you hold down the button
for 10 seconds).

it also makes this weird clicking noise that starts off like a beep and fades to a very quiet ticking clock noise (this happened before the xbox stopped loading, and it sometimes resulted with the game freezing)

it would be great if someone could help.

i was wondering if you guys could help me solve my problem. When I plug my power brick in to the outlet it has a orange light that shines. And when I plug the other end of the power cord into the console and press the on button it doesn't turn on

Sorry to hear about the issue with the console not turning on. First off got a question, are you in the preview program? If you could please unplug it completely leave unplugged for about 5 minutes. Then plug it all back in and try if the console still doesn't
turn on you will need a repair. You can set up a repair one of two ways:

• You can go to
  Device support
• You can
  Contact us when you get to step 2 select no thanks and step 4 request a call back from support.
