    My xbox is writing messages by itself


    Hi,

    I turned my Xbox on this morning after a while. It seems as though the xbox is pressing buttons without me doing anything.

    I was able to get to the store, to try and download a game, but it started to type messages in the search bar. It appears to be a a repeated message:

    "Out of memory file not found divide by zero error 327539 you're making me angry your previous internet history has been uploaded to facebook shall we play a game? i know your password i am watching you sometimes i feel lonely please save your work"

    It goes on repeatedly. Is this a virus?

    I'm going to factory reset my console, see if it goes away, but since I found nothing posted on this before, I'll put this out there for anyone who finds the same issue.

    I suggest you to change the password of your account. Then Hard Restart your Xbox.

    Try factory resetting your console too see if that works.

    That is very strange indeed. Factory reset is probably a good move. You may also want to consider resetting your account passwords.

    That is very strange. I would contact xbox support and change your passwords to be safe.
