    Alright so i started up my Xbox today. i just got black ops 3 and tried installing it . the counsel said that i have to clear space then when i tried to open my games and apps i get the message make sure you're logged in to Xbox live, and look for it in
    the Xbox store. ( 0x80270254) My guide doesn't open so i cant get to setting friends messages etc. and when i try and open a game my games and apps and even the Xbox store i keep getting the same message and when i try to open Netflix it glitches out and stops
    working. i have tried power cycling hard resets and even contacting Xbox them selves however they told me they cant to anything because part of the update preview . what can i do?

    xbox one controller keeps moving to the right

    If you're part of the preview program. it may be a slipperly slope as there may always be issues regarding the current console version. I'm not in the preview program myself but I would suggest checking out the Xbox Early Access Forum to see if anyone else
    is having this problem. If you're new to the program it may take a couple of days to grant access, or if you find you can't access them and you've been part of the program for a while try giving @XboxSupport a tweet.

    The error code you posted (0x80270254) means that you either need to be using the right app for the content you selected (possibly not relevant to you) or that the content you're trying to access hasn't been installed. Is the copy of BO3 you own a
    physical copy (ie. on disc) or a digital one, (ie. bought from the Xbox store and downloaded) and in either case does it show that the game is installing/downloading?

    I do suggest trying a full power cycle again, as there have been issues related to some of the issues you're experiencing that have been solved by it. However, try doing it this way if you haven't been already:

    • Turn off the console by holding the power button for 10 seconds.
    • Unplug the console. After doing so, wait at least five minutes.
    • After five minutes, plug your console back in and turn it back on. See if anything's improved.
    The only other solution for those issues that I've been able to track down is to, unfortunately, do a factory reset. To do this, launch the settings app either from the sidebar, or by pressing the menu button on the controller. Then, go to System, Console
    Info & Updates, and finally Restory factory defaults. This however will erase everything currently on your console's hard drive, so if you have any saves not synced to the cloud, you will lose them. If you have trouble getting to the settings app
    because of the issues you're having, you can grab the Offline System Update Diagnostic Tool from

    here
    and load it onto a USB stick. However, before doing any of that, since you're in the preview program, I would highly suggest combing through the early access forums and asking from there before you do anything drastic.

    It will update with any account (make a new one for the update). I'm not so sure that your real problem isn't that the password to your modem (on xbox) may get deleted when you restart your modem. Try checking all your internet setting on your xbox, then
    (if you have problems with getting the update) make a temporary account.
