My xbox is stuck on the green loading screen!

I need a little bit of help out here!

My xbox one is stuck on the green screen it is loading as i see from the blinking points whole the time but its not loading further then that.

Please help me!

Hi my son Xbox One won't load any games it's stuck on the Green loading screen is this fixable if so how?

I talked to Xbox support chat service and my issue got resolved.

 

I have the same issue. I am part of the preview program. Is this an issue with the latest update?

I have tried:

* Powering off by holding down the power button for 10 seconds, then turning it back on.

* Disconnecting all the cables for 10 minutes, pressing the power button while off to drain any capacitor contained current and then plugging it all back in and attempting to power back on.

Neither of these worked, I boot up to the GLSoD (Green Loading Screen of Death). I am considering performing an offline factory reset, but am unsure what the consequences are.

Will I lose save files, or configuration setup (added accounts) if I do this?

There seems to be quite a bit of gamers going through this same issue today. I know some of the Xbox core services have been down recently.

If you continuously get the green screen and the xbox never fully boots up you can do a manual factory restore of your console. This has worked for me through 3 times when helping out others in the Ambassador chat.





To do a factory reset:

First you will need to make sure to power down the xbox by holding down the power for 10 seconds.

Next turn the power on then press and hold down the eject and controller sync button together(if done correctly you will hear a second power on sound from the console)

This will get your system to boot up to the Troubleshoot screen where you will have the option to factory reset your console.

You can either select keep your game and game data or remove everything (I prefer remove everything but don't worry you wont lose any of your precious game saves or content as this is backed up for you in the cloud)

If you do this successfully your xbox will restart and walk you through the initial setup (just like when you first got the console. That glorious day one!)

After the initial setup add your account (Once you add your account again you should have access to all of your games and saves. However you will need to reinstall your games if you elected to remove everything and start fresh)



That should hopefully solve your issues my fellow gamers.
