My xbox is stuck on the applying update page.

Has anyone else experienced this as far as resetting to factory default settings? I see Godfly13 did and was successful in updating his system alllllllllll the wayyyy. Is this the experience of others? On this

page it never clarifies if all the steps are identical to using the offline system update tool or not. Other then obviously downloading the correct file. Can someone please let me know if the steps were the same?

The steps were the same. Download the restore factory defaults file below osudt2. It's file will be 4da6d880... and so on .zip. Extract it and copy its inner folder to the flash drive just like you do the offline update and boot the Xbox One the same
way holding the sync and eject buttons together until it boots using the USB. From there it only takes a couple minutes and it goes into setting up your xbox like it's fresh out of the box. Educated Stunna used this method also to fix their Xbox One.

I had a ton of difficulties. Black screen then green screen and now THIS?! How do i get it to move??? I gave it almost 6 hours yet no luck

I have not tried using the factory restore from the USB drive. From talking to customer service, it seems the only option is paying them to fix it because their bad update, possibly fixing it from the factory restore, or waiting til another update is released
that may fix the install problem, which they said could be coming before the next monthly update because of how many people have reported this problem.

Same problem with mine. I went to install the update and it wouldn't go past 75% for about 6 hours, so restarted it and got stuck on the green loading screen and have done tried the offline update method multiple times and still won't go past the same point.
