My xbox is saying i need to sign in to play games on the account i have the games on

I'm having this same problem I can't play any gamepass games e en tho I'm paid up till March I'm getting same sign in or renew ur subscription

I’m sorry to say but I still can’t play my game.

It still says and I quote “The person who bought this needs to sign in.

Sign in with the account that bought the game or installed the app.”

On your console, you need to make sure his account has your console set as the home console.

When his account is signed into your console and you go into system >Settings > General >Personalization and then Set home Xbox, it should say "Remove this as my home Xbox:. If it says that you should be able to play the games while on your account without
his account signed in.

If it says "Make this my home Xbox" then the purchasing account will need to be signed in to play any of the games. So that is when his account will need to make your console it's home Xbox.

You do NOT need to have the accounts in the same family for this to work.

So if i understand correctly you are saying my kids need to have gold to play a game since my account would be signed in playing a game downstairs they would be unable to use my Live account since it is already in use.

if they have Gold then they would then be able to access my games upstairs on my home consile while i played whatever i wanted fownstairs.

is that what you’re saying?
