I know that the xbox is plugged into the tv, because when I hold the xbox button on my controller, the menu that asks if I want to turn the xbox off or my controller shows up, but that is the only thing that shows up. The home menu doesn't show and I can't do anything, I pressed the report a problem button but it didn't do anything, please help me lmao.

    :)

Kindly follow the steps mentioned below to perform a physical reset:

    - Turn off the console unplug all the cables then re-plug them back again.

    - Click on the "Bind" and "Eject" buttons at the same time after 10 seconds click the home "X" button just once without letting go of the two buttons. Throughout the whole process you will hear two beep sounds and end up with a troubleshooting page. On your screen. You will need to select the "Reset this Xbox" option and choose "Reset and keep my games and apps".

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

Hello, how are you? My name is Mateus. I'm an Independent Advisor and I'll be glad to help you today.

Firstly I'm sorry you're having this problem.

Please try to carry out the solution below.

    1. Turn off Xbox One.

    2. Unplug power.

    3. Plug the power back to Xbox One 30 seconds later.

    4. Press and hold Bind and Eject at the same time (don't release).

    5. Press and release the Power button, and then you will hear the startup chime.

    6. When you hear the second startup chime, you can release the bind and eject buttons.

    7. Select Reset this Xbox on the screen.

    8. Select Keep games and apps.

    *Hope this works for you.

Xbox 360 shows in black and white.

Hi, I plugged it everywhere but still no color, I tried on my older TV and there is color , my wii and my cable shows color on my new tv (same place I plug in the xbox) so i know it's just a matter of compatibility somewhere.

I have already tried the restart the display defaults but that didnt help.

So last resort is a new cable, is the S video cable not an option?

Secondly, is there a black and white issue when plugged to televisions not supporting composite?

My Xbox One Isn't working properly.

XBOX Series X Audio intermittent with A/V receiver

Checked all speaker cables, and are good. Audio issue happened again, I paused the tv show for about 5 min and hit play on the Xbox controller and picture started moving but no audio. To troubleshoot the issue I went from the eARC HDMI 2 port and switched it to HDMI 1 where my Denon receiver setup menu is, it only showed a black screen. I switched back to HDMI 2 eARC port and a black screen appeared. The Xbox image was gone. I decided to unplug the Xbox disconnect the HDMI from the Xbox then wait for 5 minutes and plugged everything back in. Turn the Xbox on again and only a black screen appeared.

Next I decided to use Spotify and cast it to my receiver. Sound came out of the speakers with no issues. I switched back to the Xbox and still a black screen and no audio. Next I turned everything off, and cycled it back on, still no picture or audio. Finally I unplugged everything from the surge protector (Belkin Pure AV Model AP41300-12) then plugged it back in, turned everything on again and the Xbox was showing picture and the audio was on. Updated my HDMI cables again to, HDMI 2.1 8K with Ethernet.

Help in figuring the problem out would be greatly appreciated.
