    Ok, so Xbox customer service told me to post here for help because I am part of the insider program so here we go!

    This morning I woke up and turned my Xbox One S on. It went to the home screen, as it always does, and then I went to start up the YouTube app. The application froze and the Xbox would not go back to the home screen so I did a hard reset by holding the power button down for 10 seconds. I waited about 5 minutes after doing a hard reset on the console. I then went to start it back up. The power light indicator turns on along with the chirp you hear to let you know that the console is on. However, my TV let me know it was receiving no HDMI signal from the console even though the console indicated that it was on. I tried everything, hard resets, trying different HDMI cables, unplugging the power and letting it sit for 5 minutes then turning it back on, trying it on a different tv, and even trying to start it in a safe mode by holding down the sync, eject, and power buttons at the same time as I was told to do by customer service all with no results. I have been an Insider for about a month or two now but I really think getting my console bricked so you can beta test is not very cool Microsoft. My console is now bricked and I can't do anything with it...

    Please help! I just upgraded to Ultimate Game Pass so I would like to get back to normal before I waste my subscription while waiting to get this fixed!

    Xbox to VGA monitor problems

    No my monitor dosent have a HDMI input.

    The HDMI extenion is just a male to female hdmi cable so i can put the xbox where i have space. I have nowhere around my desktop that would not overheat it if it was here.

    From the xbox is a male to female cable, connected to a hdmi to vga cable with audio output on it. That goes straight into my Monitor.

    Im not getting any signal from the xbox in my monitor even set at the lowest resolution. My monitor is capable of 1920x1080. I have tried the xbox minimun but still get no signal.

    Scorpio Edition HDMI Issues...

    Xbox store tech said it was the HDMI port. When you get a black screen with no signal message it is either the HDMI or Harddrive, but HDMI is the most common cause of this. The repair process said if not repairable you get a refurbished! I called Xbox and
    they say that is the policy!

    I Think HDMI is a quick fix according to what I found online but they do not guarantee me my unit back if not repairable!

    I used the code and was able to install Alan Wake, but the ad-on section shows only "The Writer" DLC for download, "The Signal" is nowhere to be found on the store (I'm from Chile by the way). Please help me guys.

    Xbox One **** off projector after ~15min. Anyone have a solution?

    When projector is connected to other sources it does not turn off. I believe I found a solution. In the video setting on the AV receiver (Denon AVR-S540BT), I changed the “HDMI control” from Off to On. This enabled the “Pow. Off Control” option which I set to Off.

    So far this has worked. My theory is the Xbox was sending a power off signal through the HDMI, so this setting should block AV receiver from processing the signal.

    what i have found with my AV is that the xbox outputs via hdmi to my av in PCM format so the receiver has the raw signal, i cannot change between cinema, music etc etc, if i changed from pcm then i can.
