    My xbox is on but is not turning on?


    The power supply cable is connected as well as the HDMI cord, but the issue im having is that the consle's light is on indicating its active. But on the screen it displays the green load up with xbox symbol and its just "loading" and not moving on into the
    xbox home.

    If you haven't already, please try each step on our
    Xbox One won't power on solution     to see if that helps! This guide will at least help you narrow down which side the issue may be on so you can start the repair process on our

    Thanks for the support message.

    It sounds like you received a system update issue. Be sure you've left the console on the green screen for at least 10+ minutes to see if it ever reverts to the Xbox Home screen. If not, give these steps a go and shout back!

    I have this same problem, however I have not installed any system updates recently. I got home from a friend's and tried to start up the X1 and all it did was display a green load screen followed 15 minutes or so later by a plain black screen without an
    error code. Should I still use the Offline System Update Diagnostic Tool? And if so, which file should I download?

    What color is the light on the power adapter? Also try pluging the console in a different power outlet. Make sure that all plugs (Av cable, Power cables) to the xbox are pluged in. The power cable connects to the wall then to the power brick then to the
    console. make sure all these are pluged in all the way and that there is nothing loose
