My Xbox is not switching on

So sorry to hear that you’re not having a great experience. I recommend that you try completely removing the power cord from the back of your console for atleast a few minutes and then unplug the cord from the outlet. Then reconnect the cable to your console
and then connect the cable to the outlet and hold the power button on the device for 5 seconds.

If the console is still under warranty then you just need to create a service order and print the label to ship it. The instructions for that are here

If you want to speak with support directly you can request a free call-back by signing on at
https://support.xbox.com/contact-us and selecting Billing. When prompted to speak to a virtual
agent, decline it. After answering a few more questions, you should get the option to request a callback.

So I can download Xbox live on my switch or download the games on my Xbox live account throughly my switch

I use an HDMI switch with my xbox and the same audio adapter you are purchasing and have no issues with the xbox resetting when switch between to 2 HMDI sources I have my XBOX and a Blue Ray on the switch.
