My Xbox is not reading disks, any tips?

Hey, my Xbox One is not reading disks and i have tried to contact Microsoft, but it's not working, someone knows what to do?

DIsk drive problem

My xbox has a problem reading disk i insert a disk and it will say "reading" then go to "open tray" it is not my disk since it happens to all disk new or old games or dvds, I have cleaned the laser and that was not it, It will play eventully if i eject the
disk multiple times sometimes it will take minutes/a few times of ejecting the disk sometimes it wont read at all and or takes hours, i can hear the xbox atempting to read the disk but then i hear it fail, when it gets close to actully reading a disk it sounds
like the hardware is rendering harder and gets louder. any idea's?

Anyone else gone through 2+ 360's?

I have owned consoles that have had dvd drives issues. Iv'e been lucky never had the RROD or overheating issues with any of my consoles.

I have owned:

A 20 gig premium console non HDMI - Disk drive not reading games.

A 60 gig Pro console -Disk drive not reading games.

A 120 gig Elite Console - Disk drive reading games sometimes.

Consoles I have never had any issues with:

A black Glossy Xbox 360 Slim - traded it in.

A MW2 edition Console - bought secondhand gave it to my brother in law.

A Halo Reach Slim - what I currently have and is still working perfectly.

I am having the same issue. All my other disk read perfectly normal. Sometime the MW3 disk reads great but most of the time it doesnt. I will sit there for a good 15-20 min opening and closing the disk tray. I have tried all the trouble shooting tips they
dont work either. Most time i close the tray and it says reading then the disk drive stops spining and it says open tray. Some times it starts to read it and starts to load the game then I get the disk read error. some time it will actually start to play
and I get the disk read error. i am on my second game disk.

The same thing happened to me. I'm starting to think the Black Ops 2 and/or update is causing this problem. As soon as I installed BO2 and downloaded Nuketown 2025, the problem started. I insert the disc and the screen changes from "reading" to "open
tray." I have tried every fix listed in the xbox support page. No luck. Finally, I had to ship the xbox to Microsoft for repairs. I think that it would be extremely wrong for us to have to pay to fix the xbox if, in fact, it is xbox's software that caused
the problem.

If you have tried all of these steps in this link, then you will need a repair. You can find out how to set up a repair at the end of the troubleshooting steps
in the link. Hopefully it works out for you.

So I'm also have a problem installing the new call of duty mw3 2023 and I'll put the disk in my console and it sounds like it's trying to read the disk but can't or won't. But when I put Assassin's creed Valhalla in it runs it perfectly fine. I'm using the Xbox one s and none of these tips helped resolve the issue.
