    My xbox is failing to turn on


    Hello ! My xbox is failing to turn on im not completely sure what it might be but I've checked the power brick and it is orange when I turn it on and off and it stays that way also it might be my x12 mic cause it has been failing to work and it has a short
    in it I believe also I have opend my power brick and it apears to have ALOT of dust inside which might of made it fail. Please help thanks - Robbie

    Console will beep but won't turn on

    This has been happening to my Xbox lately. Not sure if it's from an update, or some of my hardware failing? Good thing is mine seems to fix itself after awhile, but I found some good info here Xbox One Beeps But Won’t Turn On | Xbox DIY

    wifi and xboxlive connection problem

    A 169 IP address is a "APAIPA" address. This means that your xbox see there is a network connection but the DHCP request is failing. Verify that DHCP is turned on in the router. Verify that your WEP key is correct. Reboot your router. Clear all network settings
    in the xbox. If still failing, for a temp basis turn off WEP and see if you get connection.

    Tinkering or manipulating xbox console and it's devices is against the service rules of xbox live and voids the warranty terms. Tampering might cause banning!

    Problems with your Xbox 360 console can sometimes be solved by making sure your power supply connections are firmly connected. Try these steps in the following order:

    1. Turn off the console.
    2. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console.
    3. Unplug the power supply from the electrical outlet, and then unplug the short cord from the power supply.
    4. Plug the power cord back into the console, then plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet and the power supply.
    5. Make sure that all three power supply connections are firm.
    6. Turn on the console, and check the light on the power supply.

    Also remember that

    • The power brick like the xbox itself needs to remain in an open space, and clutter free
    • tampering with the Xbox can void the warranty as well as lead to banning.
