    Any updates on how to fix this ? I've tried factory reset, reformatted my external HD, switched between where games are saved. (External or internal hard drive)

    I constantly get this error among others. My xbox one x is borderline unusable.

    My Xbox is constantly telling me to clear my local saved games and because of that I can't play games. It happens when I am in a game and it randomly pops up.

    If your HDD is full, it's clear. Uninstall some games and the message stops showing. It is not recommended to fill the HDD to the maximum.

    Hey Colvin thanks for brining this issue to us!

    We suggest a bit of troubleshooting, try starting the game (that is installed internally) with the External Hard Drive unplugged from the console to narrow this down as much as possible. Give it a shot and let us know how it goes!

    My scorpio started doing this a while ago and has got more and more frequent i think its a fault with internal hdd so probably have to send it off but any fix known?

    Hi there X13,

    What error message are you seeing specifically? Can you please include a photo of it or verbatim on what you're seeing?

    If you visit Settings>System>Storage, you'll see an option to Clear local saved games. This will remove saves stored locally on your console such as if you played a game offline and didn't sync the game back to the cloud when you came back online. Games will
    save automatically to the cloud when you're signed into your Xbox profile and connected to Xbox Live.

    Ye its always signed into live with good wire connection. Also after being on for an hour or so nothing will install from disc or ready to install list just says instaltion stopped constantly if i resume. Also will not let me save on certain games when
    its been on for same time period.

    It's because you HDD is full and needs room for auto saving.
    I have the same problem. Plenty of room on my HDD. Factory reset has not fixed the problem either.
