    My Xbox is connected to WiFi but not allowing online play


    For a while now my Xbox has been saying it’s connected to WiFi and all good to go, and I can play normally during the day but when it turns night this occurs, but it’ll still display connect to Xbox live and say that I can’t play a downloaded game due to
    not being connected to Xbox live. I don’t know what to do, I’ve hard reset my Xbox and checked my WiFi services and that’s all fine but it still occurs.

    So my console is connected to the wifi, but my multiplayer test isnt working still. Im on the wifi but I cant talk to or play online games.

    Internet problems

    my Xbox is connected to the internet but won’t recognize the internet when online. It says it’s connected but when I try to play a game it says theres a connection problem. My other Xbox works perfectly fine on the internet so it’s not the WiFi that doesn’t
    work, any ideas people?

    Are you playing on a wifi connection or a mobile connection? Mobile connections is not very stable to play online with minecraft.

    Check if your account settings allows for multiplayer on the website under online privacy and safety settings.

    Minecraft can't play multiplayer cross platform

    We never needed gold before to play cross platform. I guess you would consider it local play because we're using the same wifi connection. We've had his account add my home xbox before but it never allowed me to be able to play online except for local.

    It is possible to get free wifi so you can play online, you just got to get lucky and find that connection that allows to to use it without the need of a password
