    Hey guys, I’m just a kid so I don’t know much about fixing stuff but here... so this started last summer and its still been going on today. Sometimes I’m lucky and it wont disconnect for a few hours, other times, it’ll do it every 3 minutes before i can
    get into a match, so it gets really frustrating because I’m just trying to enjoy my time and I can’t. Unfortunately, I might just have found the fix AFTER we have been put in quarantine so... Heres what some people have been suggesting recently. They said
    that it isn’t an xbox problem, just the position. The xbox is quite far away from my router, so i can understand that. Just to note that my wifi is fine on my other devices, just a few problems a bit but i think that just relates to quarantine. Our router
    is on the other side of my house, and its downstairs where my xbox is upstairs. It’s also next to a window, which people say is a no-go. They also said we should buy an ethernet cable and have a wired connection... Also I’m not sure how we can change the position
    of the router because the router cable is connected to outside... So we would have to call our internet service provider but they aren’t on job... So any suggestions on what I should do?

    Download speeds are supposed to be a little bit slower now due to heavy internet traffic.

    From experience, it can be a few things. A stronger more powerful router that has a farther radius can absolutely do the trick but if you are getting a decent signal, I would also think about trying a different band since most routers do 2.4ghz and 5ghz.

    As others said, if you can directly connect this is the most recommended because it will be a constant connection and usually much faster.

    If a Ethernet Cable isn't working I found a little "Cheat" that could help. You could try resetting the wifi and come back into the xbox.
