My xbox insider app wont install on my xbox it takes lots of data but doesn't download even...

I experienced this problem last night with my Android Xbox GamePass app trying to install games onto my Xbox One X. My console is in the Dashboard Preview program so I reported it via the Xbox Insider app.

If you would like to provide additional data to Microsoft for troubleshooting (ie maybe support is not aware of Xbox GamePass game install issues) even if you don't have your console in the Dashboard Preview program, try downloading the Xbox Insider app.
Once app is installed, press and hold the Xbox nexus button on your controller...then select the Report a Problem button. Select Apps as the category, then OneGuide as the sub-category and enter in your problem title and description.

Another option to take, is to download the Xbox Insider Hub app and then report the issue there when it happens. This will get any relevant data directly to the development team, who can then investigate the issue.

As suggest by my fellow Ambassador, do try to uninstall the game, do a full power cycle of the console, then install the game again.

Even if you aren't an Xbox Insider, you can download the Xbox Insider Hub app and file a report when it happens. That data will help the development team find a solution.

I've tried all that. I've even tried logging in using a different xbox profile.

Nothing I do will get the app to install on my Xbox One X.

I just don't understand why the app will download just fine on my OG Xbox One but totally fail to download on my Xbox One X even after a full factory reset. It's just baffling.

If it wasn't for the fact that it's the only app that wont install I would assume my X is faulty. But all other games and apps I try install fine.

Yes it's just this app.

I'm on the public dashboard build and I downloaded the insider app to double check.

Neither of my consoles are in the insider program.

Both consoles used to be in the insider a while ago but they are not any more.

I just can't understand why this app still wont download even after factory resetting.
