My Xbox headset keeps saying " Bluetooth turned off "

I understand how frustrating it may be to experience such problem with your Xbox headset. This is definitely not the experience we want you to have. I am here to help and let us work on this together.

Kindly try the following steps below to troubleshoot your headset.

Restart your headset.

Use the green power button on the back of the headset’s left earcup to turn the headset off. You should hear a power-down sound, and the power light (just above the power button) will turn off. Wait a few seconds and then press the power button again to restart the headset.

Update your headset.

Make sure your headset is updated with the latest firmware using the Xbox Accessories app. On Xbox X|S and Xbox One consoles; you can access the Accessories app in the Settings menu: Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Accessories. If you don’t already have the Accessories app installed on your PC or mobile device, you can get it at: Xbox Accessories - Microsoft Store Apps.

Reset your headset.

To perform a hard reset of the headset:

1. Plug the USB-C cable into the headset and position yourself next to your console, Windows 10/11 device, or a power outlet with a USB connection (do not plug the other end of the USB-C cable into the console, PC, or outlet yet).
   
2. Hold down the headset’s power button and the mute button simultaneously (both buttons are located on the left earcup), and then quickly plug the USB-C cable into your console, PC, or outlet.
   
3. If the hard reset is successful, the headset should power off.
   
4. Turn the headset back on. (If you continue to hold down the power button throughout the hard reset process, the headset will power off and then power back on.)

I’m using a wired headset right now, and there’s no Bluetooth devices near me to my knowledge. I also turned off the Bluetooth on my phone

When your on the screen saying press A to start unplug your headset from your controller or turn off if bluetooth. Worked for me!

Personally, I am using a wired headset and the Bluetooth on my phone has been turned off. So I do not believe it is either of those.
