Just white usually a game will crash, light blinks series x games seem to struggle to play. And sometimes they'll freeze and shut the console down. No error messages though

If you have something downloading when you shut it off and background downloads activated, the system will go into a low power mode when shut down and continue to download. The blinking power light is indicative of the low power mode.

Background Downloads should continue if you shut off the console using the Guide button, not the power button. The center light on the ring of light will blink occasionally if background downloading is working.



I bought three Games on Demand during last week's sale, then shut down my console via the Guide button. The games all downloaded overnight while the console was "off".

Oh and it doesn't shut down unless I hold the power button down for several seconds. Otherwise the screen goes blank but the Xbox light blinks for all eternity and never fully shuts down.

No light: headset is off

Solid white light (when headset is in use): headset is on

Solid white light (when headset is charging): headset battery is fully charged

Blinking white light (slow): headset is in discovery mode (looking for an established connection); LED stops flashing when successful connection is made

Blinking white light (fast): headset is in pairing mode (looking for a new connection); LED stops flashing when successful connection is made

Solid orange light: battery is low

Solid orange light (fast): Battery charge is critical

Blinking orange light (slow): Headset battery is charging

Fast flickering between orange and white: headset is clearing current pairing information
