    Status Code Help

    My Xbox is not connecting to Xbox live and I've followed all of the steps for troubleshooting except contacting my ISP, only because it's too late right now. I have this status code that I'm getting that I'm unsure what it means. I tried searching on Google
    to see if there has been anyone else with the same status code. I don't know why I'm getting a status code if I can't even use it to help me solve my problem online by at least searching for it. I have the original white Xbox too.

    ok so I was goin to update my console by a game and it says that the update has stopped and the status code is 2132-397f-2800-0f00-cooo-0034 please help thanks

    bypassing internal 4GB drive on 360S

    USB flash drive doesn't work or appear to bypass the internal memory for the 'system update' still getting the error codes. It did give an option to choose the USB storage for small update BO2 game. That downloaded fine. It's Xbox live system update not
    downloading. last option is try a hard drive in the caddy slot, although my bet is the 'system' update has to run through the built in memory, and can't be bypassed. where are you Microsoft/xbox geniuses?

    "A system update is required to sign in, but the update is currently unavailable."

    I have bypassed the router with a straight to modem connection and get the same status code.

    Problem connecting to Live

    definitely try the previous suggestion. you wont be able to connect until you get that update. but also, where did you buy your xbox? was it actually BRAND SPANKIN NEW, or somewhat used? this status code may indicate that you have an xbox that has been tampered
    with, and it won't allow you to run the update. i can't be sure though because i dont have access to what that code actually means. if you can't update your xbox any other way, then call in to support and provide them that status code, they can look it up
    and give you a difinitive answer.
