my xbox has a black screen

To be able to help you, we need to gather some more information. First, what Xbox console do you have? Also, do you get any error codes when you wait some time after you see the black screen?

Could be a hardware issue or a problem with the HDMI port itself, but before concluding that please let me know if you already tried this:

A. Use a different HDMI cord
B. Connect the console to a different HDMI port
C. Connect the console to a different TV on another room or house

Let's try a few procedures in the attempt of fixing this problem. First, follow these steps:

- Procedure 1

1. With the console on, press and hold the Xbox button on the console itself until it shuts off.

2. Unplug it from the wall for 30 seconds.

3. Connect it to wall again.

4. Turn it on.

5. Check if the issue has been resolved.

- Procedure 2

If you still have the problem, follow these steps:

1. Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.

2. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

3. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.

Note: The Xbox Series S and the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition do not have Eject buttons. You can bring up the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter on this console by holding only the Pair button and then pressing the Xbox button. Disregard the Eject button for these two consoles.

4. Press and hold the Pair/Bind button and the Eject button, and then press the Xbox button on the console.

5. Continue holding the Pair and Eject buttons for 10-15 seconds.

6. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the Pair and Eject buttons after the second power-up tone.

If you see the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter, select Reset this Xbox, and then Reset and keep my games & apps.

If also after doing this you still have the problem, repeat the steps from Procedure 2 and select Reset and erase everything at the end.

I have an Xbox one s , it will do the animation then turn to a black screen. I wait about 10-15 minutes before restarting again. No error codes show
