    my xbox one hard drive doesnt work i have been on to the xbox team and they have said i need to format it by using the computer.

    When they told me what to do it doesnt come up when i right click as format.

    just wondering if anyone can help me at all

    what i did to fix it was got an external hardrive put all of my staff on my xbox harddrive and put it on the external

    and i formatted the xbox hardrive

    then i run the update and it worked

    Thanks for the replies. I have a WD external hardrive but I have tried using that with my Xbox and it did not even recognize it as being plugged in. ShoPastry, do you know if there is a way to make my WD hardrive compatible with xbox?
