Yup, you just have a faulty Kinect.

I do as well, does the same thing. Sometimes it wont even turn on at all. Seems like its gotten better after the last update for some reason but its not going to just fix its self.

I need to send it in, but i've just been lazy since I have an extended warranty lmao.

My Kinect has been turning off since I bought the xbox one 3 years ago first kinect I had to unplug whole system 2nd kinect I bought I had to unplug kinect from the back. Would turn on and off and stay off till I unplugged it and
was sluggish with my voice commands. When verizon fios upgraded me from a generation 2 router to a generation 3 router a few weeks ago both kinects work very well and never turns off or miss a voice command. It has something to do with the router.

no but whenever i put in the disc it would freeze randomly, black screen, my dlc's would be missing, I had to keep turning off the 360 and turning it on all day.

I've been having a similar issue on my Series X. Haven't had it happen while gaming yet though (with the green screen). Mine seems to be an issue with video playback. Whenever I'm navigating my game DVR viewing clips, it freezes and boots me to the dashboard, then all my clips are green screen. Then if I launch YouTube and try to play a video, it black screens and crashes the entire console (basically turns itself off). When I boot it back up everything's fine and working again. Luckily I've only had it happen a couple times but I worry that it could turn into a bigger issue down the line. I've also experienced a couple game freezes that completely turned the Console off, minus the green screen though, the games just froze and the console turned off.

i have same problem but my xbox one s turns off itself while playing game. its really making me angry! i had it repaired once but it still occurs!
