My Xbox gets a red light then turns off, HELP!

Every time I turn on my Xbox Slim it will get a red light on the center of the power button (and only the center) then it turns off. The odd thing is: after the Xbox turns off the red light stays on, but my TV says it is getting no signal. The console is
in a well ventilated area and the power brick is solid orange and there is no disc in the tray. I really would appreciate any help I can get.

My xbox turns off by itself and it's not auto-off!

Can you guys help me with my problem: So, my Xbox 360 turns off when I play for an hour and the power brick's light goes red, so disconnect the xbox and then reconnect it back, I play for 2 or 3 minutes and then..... BOOM... it turns off and then I
can't play xbox because it keeps doing it, HELP!!!

please try the steps for the Solid Red light mentioned on this link:

If that doesn't fix anything, please follow the steps like mentioned on that same link to request a repair for the console
