    My xbox gamertag


    I'm trying to change my gamertag right, but when I go to add a payment option and I'm adding my address, The region is greyed out and stuck on United States, i've tried so many things to fix, I've gone into my microsoft account checked my region and it says South African, then I tried adding a payment option and It let me put in the correct address, but when I tried again it still used some other address and the region was still US and greyed out. BTW i don't have a xbox console anymore, im trying to do this over the xbox app or the xbox companion app, never of which is working.

    Unable to change gamertag

    I'm trying to change my classic gamertag which is the one you see in games. My classic gamertag got changed and my Xbox One and Xbox App gamertag stayed the same (the Xbox One gamertag is the ones they added with the new gamertag system).

    My Xbox One gamertag is different to my in-game gamertag and I want my classic gamertag to be changed. You can only change your classic gamertag on the Xbox One console, I have tried using the other ways and you can only change your Xbox Gamertag, not your
    classic gamertag.

    The reason I want to change my classic gamertag is that the classic gamertag can be fifteen characters and the Xbox One gamertag can only be 12 characters. If I use the other ways to change my gamertag it limits me to 12 characters and sets both my gamertags
    to that.

    Just to clarify...when you say all licenses, you mean all licenses for that gamertag regardless of which xbox purchased it? I was hoping to leave the licenses on the other xboxes. If I bought my daughter a game on her xbox under my gamertag and one for
    everyone in the livingroom under my gamertag...if I do a transfer under my gamertag to my xbox in the bedroom no one can play the game under THEIR gamertag on their xbox anymore? Is there anyway to do a license transfer that DOESN'T merge ALL licenes?

    Hi, for some reason my old gamertag is showing on the xbox app, yet I changed my gamertag ages ago. Is there any reason why my old gamertag is showing on the xbox app rather than my new gamertag?
    Try signing out and then signing back in.
