    Anyone know how to change the name it had given me?!

    I have been looking at this as for some reason, my GamerTag is my real name

    It would appear that the only place you can change your GamerTag is on the XBOX itself however there is the small matter that Microsoft also want the best part of £7 for the privilege!!!

    My Xbox gamertag

    You can change your gamertag at any time the amount of $10. You can click on edit profile and I believe the gamertag change option is in there. If you need further assistance please do not hesitate to ask. I'm here to help.

    They can guide you step by step and are supposed to

    If you are asking something ellse please filll us in

    IF it says the name is taken thhen it is taken and if you tried searching it then no because you it is used by 3 different services and this site only searches Xbox or you didn't ha e the correct spacing

    Spacing doesn't make the name different so is the same as ngoc Phi but as friend request will only request on the specific spacing you typed

    You will just have to be more creative with the spelling

    Unable to change gamertag

    I'm trying to change my classic gamertag which is the one you see in games. My classic gamertag got changed and my Xbox One and Xbox App gamertag stayed the same (the Xbox One gamertag is the ones they added with the new gamertag system).

    My Xbox One gamertag is different to my in-game gamertag and I want my classic gamertag to be changed. You can only change your classic gamertag on the Xbox One console, I have tried using the other ways and you can only change your Xbox Gamertag, not your
    classic gamertag.

    The reason I want to change my classic gamertag is that the classic gamertag can be fifteen characters and the Xbox One gamertag can only be 12 characters. If I use the other ways to change my gamertag it limits me to 12 characters and sets both my gamertags
    to that.

    Just to clarify...when you say all licenses, you mean all licenses for that gamertag regardless of which xbox purchased it? I was hoping to leave the licenses on the other xboxes. If I bought my daughter a game on her xbox under my gamertag and one for
    everyone in the livingroom under my gamertag...if I do a transfer under my gamertag to my xbox in the bedroom no one can play the game under THEIR gamertag on their xbox anymore? Is there anyway to do a license transfer that DOESN'T merge ALL licenes?

    Hi, for some reason my old gamertag is showing on the xbox app, yet I changed my gamertag ages ago. Is there any reason why my old gamertag is showing on the xbox app rather than my new gamertag?
